Skills Extraction

All three import modes support skills extraction from the imported content:
  • Full Import: Automatically creates background jobs for syllabi with URLs
  • Course Import: Optional checkbox to extract skills immediately after import
  • Job Import: Optional checkbox to extract skills immediately after import
Skills extraction uses AI to identify the competencies and learning outcomes from your syllabi and job descriptions, enabling gap analysis and program alignment reporting. Learn more about skills extraction →

Import History and Tracking

For Full Import, all operations are logged and can be reviewed in the Import History page. This provides:
  • Complete audit trail of all imports
  • Detailed results showing what was created, updated, or skipped
  • Failed items with error messages
  • Background job links for syllabus processing
